01 — Overview

What these terms cover

These terms apply to findyourori.com, the events you register for through it, and the free Project Health Check. By using the site you agree to them. They're written to be read, so if anything is unclear, ask me.

Ori is a project management coaching and consultancy practice based in Monterey, California.

02 — Using the site

Information, not advice for your situation

Articles, case studies, tools and other material on this site are general information. They're offered in good faith, but they aren't professional advice for your specific project, team or career. That starts when we agree to work together.

Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break its security, overload it, scrape it at scale, or submit forms with false or someone else's details.

03 — Engagements

Coaching and consulting work

Every coaching or consulting engagement is agreed in writing before it starts, covering scope, schedule and fees. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the engagement agreement applies.

The discovery call is free and carries no obligation on either side.

04 — Events

Registering, paying and cancelling

  • Seats are first come, first served. When an event is full you can join the waitlist, and you'll be emailed if a seat opens for you.
  • Payments for paid events are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.
  • If you cancel 48 hours or more before an event starts, you're refunded in full automatically. Cancellations within 48 hours aren't refunded automatically, but get in touch and I'll consider it.
  • If I cancel an event, you'll get a full refund.
  • Joining details are for registered attendees only, so please don't share them.
05 — Free tools

The Project Health Check

The Project Health Check gives a general indication based on your answers. It's a starting point for reflection, not an assessment of your project. Your results are shown in your browser, and they're only sent to me if you choose to email yourself the report or book a call.

06 — Content

Using what you find here

The writing, frameworks, tools and design on this site belong to Ori. You're welcome to quote short passages and share links, with credit to Ori and a link back. Please don't republish, resell or use the material in paid training without written permission.

07 — Other sites

Links and services run by others

Some links lead to services run by others, including Medium, LinkedIn, Calendly and Stripe. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there, and I'm not responsible for their content.

08 — Liability

Limits

The site and its free tools are provided as they are. I work to keep them accurate and available but can't guarantee they always will be. To the extent the law allows, Ori isn't liable for losses arising from use of the site or its free material. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

09 — Privacy

Your information

How I handle personal and client information is set out in the Data Security & Privacy statement. Questions about your data go to privacy@findyourori.com.

10 — Changes & contact
